  Saks at Placencia Resort  was formerly known as "Kitty’s Place" and was purchased in 2005 by a Canadian couple who left their native land of Edmonton, Alberta and moved to Belize.  They have named the resort "Saks" after their three children, Shannon, Andrew, Kendra, Steele. The resort was comprised of wooden cabanas, these cabanas needed to be replaced, and we have now finished rebuilding and have renamed the resort to Los Porticos Villas.   We have a new pool, swim up bar and lounge area.  Our restaurant and spa are due to be completed in 2010.
