  Saks at Placencia Resort  was formerly known as "Kitty’s Place" and was purchased in 2005 by a Canadian couple who left their native land of Edmonton, Alberta and moved to Belize.  They have named the resort "Saks" after their three children, Shannon, Andrew, Kendra, Steele. The resort was comprised of wooden cabanas, these cabanas needed to be replaced and we are now rebuilding the resort.  The new resort is under construction and we are offering discount rates while the work is being done.  We still have our beautiful beach, a new pool and new two bedroom units.  Our new resort will be called Los Porticos Villas.  If you want to take advantage of a discount rate, still enjoy the beach and sights of Placencia, call us and we will be happy to update you on the construction progress.
