All of the tours arranged by Los Porticos Villas are led by licensed local guides. Most tour prices are based on 4 or more persons.  Children under 12 are half price.  All tours are subject to a 9% sales tax. Tour prices are subject to change and are based on availability.

SNORKELING: Los Porticos Villas snorkel tours are not combined with SCUBA diving. The tours leave at 9am and return by 4pm. The full day snorkeling trips include a boxed lunch. Our guides will snorkel with you and are trained to teach beginners.  The groups are small (10 people or less).  Life jackets, water and ice are always on board.

INNER REEF: Laughing Bird Caye National Park and Lark Range:  Our recommendation, and our most popular snorkeling tour, the inner reef, is a 20-30 minute boat ride from the resort.  The first stop is usually the pristine palm studded Laughing Bird Caye National Park.  The beautiful, virgin beaches and nearby coral reef, provide an excellent snorkeling site for the beginner.  The inner reef offers protected waters, a large variety of soft and hard corals and a multitude of tropical fish.  $65 - $78US per person.

OUTER REEF SNORKEL TOURS:  These all day snorkel tours usually go to the Silk Cayes, three small coral cayes located on top of the main barrier reef.  Occasionally the tour may go to Tobacco Caye. Snorkeling on the outer reef is more dramatic than the inner reefs with bigger walls, larger fish and more ocean ecology.  These cayes are coral sand cayes with beautiful beaches.  It takes approximately one hour to reach these destinations.  You will need to order a box lunch.  Cost includes snorkel gear and lunch and is $78-$98US a person.
